In House Training For Veterinary clinics or related industry
Due to a growing need in the veterinary market and in the face of tough economic pressure, Vet Nurse plus have establish a separate training division called Learning Curve NZ Ltd to offer in-house training to all veterinary clinics or businesses who wish to up-skill all their staff on personal and professional development skills such as Customer Service, People Skills and Attitude along with Veterinary Standards of Care Facilitation.
Feedback from Continuing Education seminar delegates on Attitude and Customer Service often identifies the need for all staff to hear the talk as well, so with this in mind Learning Curve seminars can be tailor made to suit your individual needs and requirements and can be done as a ‘once up’ training seminar or a series of seminars over a number of months. We can also offer training on skills related directly to veterinary nursing (Anaesthetics, Wounds and Bandaging etc). A list of topics that we will be covering can be sent to you and we are open to covering any other subject matter not listed that you may deem important for your practice. Most sessions will be run over one or two days depending on the subject matter and your needs.
Most subjects will be covered by Dr David Barrowman BVSc. David has a wealth of knowledge and experience gained over a number of years being involved both as a veterinary practitioner and as an educator of veterinarians, veterinary nurses and business owners. Having worked in companion animal and mixed practices in New Zealand and the UK David was also involved with a marketing company and was the head tutor training veterinary nurses in Auckland. David’s ability to relate theory to practical use and communicate in a knowledgeable and friendly manner makes him a unique and highly skilled educator.
